Geraldine Brown Poston

Mrs. Geraldine Poston, 73 wife of the late Mr. Carl F. Poston, died Sunday, January 5 at her residence. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, January 8 at 11am at Southlawn Cemetery, Aiken, SC, with Rev. Randy Taylor officiating. Mrs. Poston was the daughter of the late, Lyshew and Lois Brown, and a native of WV. She has lived in Aiken since 1950, after moving form LaFollette, TN. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, New Ellenton, SC, and retired from Kimberly Clark after 25 years of service. Survivors include her son, Chip and Ann Poston, Aiken, daughter, Barbara and Dennis Church, Aiken, brother, Joe Brown, sister, Edna Brown, both of Dayton, OH, grandchildren, Jennifer and Kristy Poston, and great grandchildren, Kaytlin and Ashleigh Poston. The family wishes that memorials be made to American Diabetes Association, 326 Greene St., Augusta, GA 30901.
