Harvey Franklin Allen

Funeral services for Harvey Franklin Allen, Jr., 87, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 22, 2016 at New Covenant Presbyterian Church. Officiating will be Pastor Drew Kornreich. Burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, at GEORGE FUNERAL HOME.

Mr. Allen, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2016. Born in Indianapolis, he was a son of the late Harvey and Rose Ellis Allen. He was a retired Nuclear Engineer with SRS. Mr. Harvey was also a member of New Covenant Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his loving wife, Marlene Pratt Allen of Aiken; sons, Steven R. Allen (Laura) of Aiken, Doug R. Allen (Teresa) of Watkinsville, Georgia, Tom R. Allen of Aiken and Jeff R. Allen (Susan) of Watkinsville, Georgia; a sister, Charlene Weathers of Dallas, Texas; a brother, Roy L. Allen of Oak Harbor, Washington; 11 grandchildren, Tacoa, Kelsey, Haley, Dawson, Graham, Hudson, Caroline, Jennifer McFall (David), Laura Bowers (Brent), Robert and Matthew and one great-grandson, Elijah McFall.
