Helen Louise Riles

Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Louise Riles will be held Monday, June 24, 2002 at 10 AM at George Funeral Homes, Inc., Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC, with Rev. Dr. Rick Perrin and Mr. Stephen Hale officiating. Interment will follow in Bethany Cemetery, Aiken, SC. Pallbearers will be Larry Key, Frank Miller, Bobby Riles, William Bouknight, Vince Ruczko, and Ladd Wright. The family will receive friends Sunday, June 23, 2002 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Riles, 75, of Aiken, SC, wife of the late Mr. Scott D. Riles, Sr., died Monday, morning, June 17, 2002 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

Born in Graniteville, SC, she had lived in Aiken, SC, for the past seventy-five years. Mrs. Riles retired after twenty-six years of service as Food Service Manager with the Coca-Cola Company and she was an Episcopalian. She enjoyed flowers, cooking, and she loved her family and also her dogs, Poco and the late Rambo.

Surviving are sons, Scott D. Riles, Jr., Lexington, SC, Darryl K. Riles, Aiken, SC, and Dwayne L. Riles, Aiken, SC; step-sister, Juanita Key, Aiken, SC; step-brothers, Ernest and Ansel Butler, both of Aiken, SC; and a grandson, Robert Scott Riles.
