Henry W. Willing

Aiken, SC-Funeral services for Mr. Henry W. Willing will be held Wednesday, November 5, 2003 at 11 AM at George Funeral Homes, Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC, with Revs. Louie Anderson and Taylor Wells officiating. Interment will follow in Vaucluse Cemetery, Vaucluse, SC. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 4, 2003 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.

Mr. Willing, 73, of Aiken, SC, husband of Mrs. Betty Scott Willing, died Sunday, night, November 2, 2003 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

Born in and a life long resident of Aiken, SC, a son of the late Geddings and Ione Smith Willing, he was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. He retired after many years as a Salesman and had also been a volunteer fireman.

In addition to his wife of fifty-two years, Betty Scott Willing, son, Fred and wife, Dona Willing, Summerville, SC; daughters, Joan and husband, Tom McPherson, Beech Island, SC and Robin and husband, Brian Brazier, Aiken, SC; brothers, Edgar and Clyde Willing, both of Aiken, SC; sisters, Mary Jordan, Alice Jhant, and Linda Bennett, all of Aiken, SC; grandchildren, Melanie Rivera, Scott Simmons, Kristin Willing, Allison Willing, Michael Brazier, and Jeffrey Brazier and great-grandchildren, Alexa and Alyssa Rivera, survive.

The family has requested memorials in memory of Mr. Willing be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Drawer K, Aiken, SC 29802 or Shiloh Baptist Church, 3925 Shiloh Church Rd., Aiken, SC 29805.
