Howard William Grice

Funeral services for Mr. Howard William Grice will be held Saturday, June14, 2003 at 2 PM at George Funeral Homes, Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC, with Reverend Dave Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in the Scott Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, June 13, 2003 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Mr. Grice, 80, of West Columbia, SC, husband of Joan Bonnette Grice, died Thursday, morning, June 12, 2003 at Providence Hospital, Columbia, SC.

Born Aiken County, SC, a son of the late Olin Leon and Myrtis Scott Grice, he had been a resident of West Columbia, SC, since 1960. He was a member of Darien Baptist Church and retired after 28 years of service as an Engineer from the South Carolina Highway Department.

In addition to his wife of forty-seven years, Joan Bonnette Grice, daughters, Judy Price, Chapin, SC and Susan Grice, West Columbia, SC; son, Guy Grice, Pelion, SC; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild survive.

At the request of the family, please make memorials in memory of Mr. Grice to the Chapel of Redemption, 5181 Platt Springs Rd., Lexington, SC 29073.
