Jack Daniel Parrish

Funeral services for Jack Daniel Parrish, 89, of New Ellenton, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at the Chapel of GEORGE FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow in Southlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.

Mr. Parrish, widower of Bernice Dean Parrish, passed away on Saturday, June 03, 2017. Born in Ware Shoals, SC, he was a son of the late Claude and Eula Murphy Parrish. He was a US Navy Veteran. Mr. Parrish was a member of Foreman Baptist Church and he loved his Senior Sunday School Class and enjoyed gardening. He was a retired supervisor at E.I. du Pont. In addition to his wife, Mr. Parrish was preceded in death by a sister, Capitola Johnson.

Survivors include a son, Mitchell Parrish (Linda) of Martinez; a daughter, Wanda Moore (Ed) of Aiken; a sister, Claudette Parrish of San Francisco, CA; 5 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
