James Leroy Dickinson

November 16, 1949 — July 6, 2021

James Leroy Dickinson,71, beloved husband of 50 years to Karen Learned Dickinson, passed away peacefully Tuesday afternoon at Aiken Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.

Born in Holyoke, MA. On November 16, 1949, he was the son of the late Clarence & Lauria Gagnon Dickinson. Mr. Dickinson was a retired engineer with IDEX Corporation. He was a communicant of St. Marys Help of Christians Church in Aiken, SC.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter and son-in-law, Jacklyn (Steven) Wilcox of Naugatuck, CT; a sister and brother-in-law, Sandra (Phillip) Klimoski of Holyoke, MA; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert (Linda) Dickinson of Springfield, MA; a brother, William Dickinson of the Philippines; and two grandchildren, Emily Wilcox and Logan Wilcox.

Memorial services will held at a later date in his home state of Massachusetts.
