James Donald Wilson

Funeral services for Mr. James Donald Wilson will be private and are under the direction of George Funeral Homes, Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC.

Mr. Wilson, 67, of Aiken, SC, husband of Freda Louise Dorman Wilson, died Sunday, night, December 21, 2003 at his home.

Born in Cincinnati, OH, a son of the late James Harry and Tressie Agnes Swanson Wilson, he had been a resident of Cincinnati, OH, prior to moving to Wagener, SC, eleven months ago. A United States Air Force veteran, he proudly served his country during the Korean War, where he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal.

In addition to his wife, a daughter, Donna L. Estrella, Douglasville, PA; sons, James H. Wilson, III and Jeffery B. Wilson, both of Wagener, SC, Thomas E. Wilson, West Union, OH, G. Terry Wilson, Charleston, SC, and Michael A. Wilson, Wagener, SC; sister, Shirley Bennett, Cincinnati, OH; thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild, survive.

A brother, Bill Wilson and grandson, Michael Bryan Wilson, preceded him in death.

The family has requested that memorials in memory of Mr. Wilson be made to the family.
