James Hiram Fields

Funeral services for Mr. James ?Jim? Hiram Fields, III, will be held Monday, May 8, 2006 at 3pm at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Avenue, SW, Aiken with Rev. Jerry Crisco officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held tonight Sunday from 6 ? 8 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to Habitat for Humanity, PO Box 3323. Aiken, SC 29802.

Mr. Fields, 61, Aiken, died Wednesday, May 3, 2006 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

Mr. Fields was born in Gastonia, NC to Faye Hopper Fields and the late James H. Fields, Jr. Mr. Fields had lived in Aiken since 1991 and before that in Barnwell, SC and Newberry, SC. He was a member of Hagood Avenue Baptist Church. He was a well known coach at Kennedy Middle School, Newberry, Barnwell, Midland Valley and Aiken High Schools.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife Annie Botnen Fields; sons, Matthew Clay Fields and Jeremy Ryan Fields, both of Barnwell; stepdaughter, Lisa Marie Richard McFarland-Forster, Charlotte, NC; stepson, Dominic Carl Gulay Figiel, Denver, CO; brother, Gilbert Fields; sister, Carol Crisco; step grandchildren, Cyrus Figiel, and Rayanna Forster.
