Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Jane Ell Floyd will be celebrated Tuesday, October 5, 2004 at 11 AM at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Aiken, SC. Interment will follow in Sweetwater Baptist Church Cemetery, SC. Pallbearers will be Bobby Brassell, Ed Frye, Tony Armitage, Derrick Floyd, Inman Floyd, II, and Daryll Floyd. The family will receive friends Monday, October 4, 2004 from 6 until 8 PM at George Funeral Homes, Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC.

Jane, 64, of Graniteville, SC, life partner to Donna Friedrich, for twenty years, died Thursday, night, September 30, 2004 at the Medical College of Georgia, Augusta.

Born in Aiken County, SC, a daughter of the late Wiley and Dorothea Ready Floyd, she was a communicant of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church and was a Horticulturist with Sage Valley. Jane was an animal rights activist.

In addition to her life partner, a son, Jody Kelley, McCormick, SC; daughters, Judy Brassell, and Lynn Armitage, both of Martinez, GA; brother, Inman Floyd, Graniteville, SC; grandson, Aaron Miller and many nieces and nephews, survive.
