Jeannine Rich

Funeral services for Mrs. Jeannine Rich will be held Wednesday, December 8, 2004 at 9 AM from the graveside in Southlawn Cemetery, Aiken, SC, with Pastor Sherry Jones officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 7, 2004 from 6 until 8 PM at George Funeral Homes, Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC.

Mrs. Rich, 70, of Augusta, GA, wife of forty-eight years to Mr. Edward Rich, died Saturday, morning, December 4, 2004 at St. Joseph Hospital, Augusta.

Born in Maine, a daughter of the late Joseph and Lula Labbe Babin, she had lived in Aiken from 1966 until relocating to Augusta in 1987. She had been a registered nurse in Aiken, and retired from the V.A.M.C. in Augusta.

In addition to her husband, children, Steven Rich, Aiken, SC, Mark Rich, Aiken, SC, Linda Duckett, Aiken, SC, Michael Rich, Evans, GA and Dianne Southerland, Aiken, SC; sisters, Bernice Babin, Chile, Rita McGary, Reno, NV and Irene Meissner, Reston, VA; thirteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, survive.

The family has asked that memorials in memory of Mrs. Rich be made to the Lupus Foundation of America, P.O. Box 1427, Easley, SC 29641-1427
