Jennie B. Szczygiel

A Funeral Mass for Mrs. Jennie B. Szczygiel will be celebrated on Thursday, December 23, 2010 at 3pm at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Aiken. Interment will take place at a later date in St. Aloysius Cemetery, Indian Orchard, MA. Memorial contributions may be directed to Alzheimer's Association, South Carolina Chapter, 4124 Clemson Blvd - Ste L, Anderson, SC 29621.

Mrs. Szczygiel, 88, of Aiken, died Monday, December 20, 2010 at Pepper Hill Nursing Center.

Born in Bondsville, MA, she was the daughter of the late Victor and Mary Libeda Muniec. She was a parishioner at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church and a homemaker. Jennie liked gardening and baking.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Frederick W. Szczygiel, and sister, Anna Wilga. She is survived by her daughter Diane Mansur and her husband Raymond, Aiken; sisters, Evelyn Renaud, Irene Niejadlik, brothers, Victor Muniec, Charles Muniec.
