Jo Cox

Visitation for Mrs. Jo Cox, 83, who entered into rest October 17, 2012, will be held on Friday, October 19, 2012, from 5-7pm at GEORGE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTER, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken.

Born in Bluefield, West Virginia, a daughter of the late John & Eddie Preas Croye. Mrs. Cox made Aiken her home for the past 20 years. Jo's passion in her retirement years was raising her granddaughter Josie. Jo was preceded in death by her husband, Jack D. Cox and her sister-in-law, Peggy Croye.

Survivors include: her son Steve Cox and his fiancé Robin Byrne both of Aiken; granddaughter Josie Cox of Aiken; a brother Al Croye of Navasota, Texas. Jo loved her extended family of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Graveside service will be held at 2:30 PM Sunday at Blue Ridge Memorial Cemetery, in Roanke, Virginia, the family will receive friends from 12-2 pm Sunday at Oakey Funeral Home, also in Roanoke, Virginia.
