A Requiem Mass for Joan Lillian Hartman, will be held at 1 PM, Saturday, May 6, 2017 at the old St. Mary Help of Christian Catholic Church, under the care of GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, burial will be private. Mrs. Hartman, 73, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2017. Born in Providence, Rhode Island, she was a daughter of the late Lucien and Evelyn Berg Vezina. Mrs. Hartman retired as a Registered Nurse, a job she loved. She was a communicant of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Survivors include her husband, David L. Hartman of Aiken; sons, David L. Hartman, Jr. (Tracy) of Laguna Hills, California and Andrew P. Hartman (Magan) of Encinitas, California; a daughter, Dawn L. Boucher (Rene) of Beech Island; sisters, Linda Gavitt of Mystic, Connecticut and Gail Robinson of Willimatic, Connecticut and 4 grandchildren.
