Joan Patricia Lucchesi

A funeral Mass for Mrs. Joan Patricia Lucchesi will be celebrated Monday, August 14, 2006 at 11am at St. Mary Help of Christian Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 6-8pm at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Avenue, SW, Aiken. Memorial contributions may be directed to American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210-1790.

Mrs. Lucchesi, of Aiken, died Thursday, August 10, 2006 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

Mrs. Lucchesi was born in Teaneck, NJ to the late Albert and Matilda Ferine Sinnott. She had lived in Aiken since 1976 and was a homemaker. She also volunteered for many organizations including Hitchcock Rehabilitation Center, St. Mary Help of Christian School, and St. Angela Academy.

Mrs. Lucchesi is survived by her husband Edward Lucchesi; son , Joseph Lucchesi, Annapolis, MD; daughter, Suzanne Burke George, Charlotte, NC; sister, Marilyn Bailey, Lancaster, SC; grandchildren, Stephanie George, and Rachael George.
