Joan I Wilson

AIKEN, SC- Joan I. Wilson, age 76, passed away Monday, September 21, 2015.

Mrs. Wilson was born April 17, 1939 in Weymouth, Massachusetts to the late John and Mildred Trevains Tusini. Prior to moving to Aiken, SC eleven years ago, she resided in Braintree, Mass. from 1965 until 2004. Mrs. Wilson enjoyed making children's clothing when she was younger and always had a life-long passion for reading. She will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, great-grandmother.

Mrs. Wilson is survived by her husband of 54 years, George A. Wilson, Sr.; a daughter, Roberta Ann Coleman (Kenneth), Weymouth, Mass.; two sons, George A. Wilson, Jr., New Bedford, Mass. and Brian John Wilson, Chattanooga, TN; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, John Tusini (Frankline) Nassau, NH; and a sister-in-law, Janet Bonsusy (John), Braintree, Mass.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, September 26, 2015 in the George Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Henry Chennault officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Cemetery.
