AIKEN, SC- Joel Wolf, age 64, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2016.
Mr. Wolf was born in Augusta, GA on October 26, 1951 to the late Isadore and Adele Lessinger Wolf. He was a life-long area resident and was the former owner of Wolf's Ice Cream and Restaurant. After he sold his restaurant, he became a salesman in the jewelry industry. He was recognized numerous times for his expertise in jewelry and sales. He was a member of Eureka First Baptist Church. Mr. Wolf's passion was being a salesman and fishing. He loved spending time with his family, church family, and friends. He also enjoyed meeting new people and never met a stranger.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Elsie Clark Wolf; a daughter, Angela Thomas (Seth), N. Augusta, SC ; a son, Joseph Wolf (Jessica), Monetta, SC; a granddaughter, Trinity Wolf; a grandson, Addison Thomas; a sister, Judith Wolf, of Florida; beloved cousins, Jackie Igar, of N.C., and Rosalee Rinehart, Aiken, SC; and other extended family.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at Eureka First Baptist Church, 173 Johnston Hwy, Trenton, SC 29847. Pastor John Arthur will officiate. Interment will follow in Rocky Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
