Joseph Guisti

Mr. Joseph Guisti, 83, of New Ellenton, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2014, at home. Born in Croton-on-Hudson, New York, on May 5, 1930 to James and Genevieve Guisti,

Mr. Guisti lived in New Ellenton for the past 51 years. He retired from DuPont in 1989 after 37 years of employment. He was also a Korean War veteran serving in the 3rd Infantry Division of the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Joan Guisti; his children, Theresa Brock, Joe Guisti, and John Guisti; five grandchildren, Melessa Patterson and her husband, Dan Patterson, Ryan Dukes, Devin Brock, Dylan Guisti, and David Guisti; ten great grandchildren, Alex Boone, Genevieve Lucas, Bryanna and Abigail Patterson, McKenzie and Autumn Allen, Bradin, Kottn and Wynstin Dukes, and Kadence Brock; two special nieces, Margaret Nordisden and Dottie Ives; and several nieces and nephews.
