Joseph Edward Neely

AIKEN, SC - Joseph Edward Neely "Joe" passed away peacefully at his residence in Aiken on February 10th, 2017 at the age of 47. Joe was born in West Virginia on June 27th, 1969. He proudly served in the Navy during Desert Storm.

Joe was a general manager at Advance Auto Parts in Aiken and loved his team members and customers. Joe was a chef at heart and loved to feed everyone. It is deeply regretted by many that he never shared the secret to his famous BBQ sauce. Joe was a father, son and a best friend to so many people and will never be forgotten.

Joe is survived by his wife, Beth Neely of Aiken, five children, son Caleb, daughter Samantha and her husband Jake; son Zachary and his sweetheart Lauren, son Christopher Joseph and son Justin. He also has a granddaughter Catie Marie. Joe is survived by his father Howard Neely and wife Liz and was predeceased in death by his mother Cathy Ofsharick. He also has a sister Jennifer Sampson and her husband Burt. Nieces and nephews include Marisa and Reed Sampson and Tyler Langley along with a great nephew, Brayden.

There will be a memorial for Joe at the Historic George Funeral Home, 211 Park Avenue, Aiken, SC 29801 Friday February 17th from 5pm to 7pm.
