Josephine Helen Dent

A Funeral Mass for Miss. Josephine Helen Dent will be celebrated at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church on Friday, July 7th, 2006 at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday, July 6, 2006 from 6-8pm at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center 211 Park Ave. SW Aiken. There will be a Vigil Service at 6:00pm. Memorial donations may be directed to Hitchcock Hospice 690 Medical Park Dr. Aiken, SC 29801 in her memory.

Miss Dent, 90, of Aiken, died Thursday, June 29, 2006 at Eden Gardens in Aiken. A daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Agnes Sampson Dent, she was born in Brooklyn, NY and had lived in Whiting, NJ before moving to Aiken in 2005. She was retired as a nurse and was a communicant of St. Mary Help of Christians Church.

She is survived by ten nieces and nephews, Eileen Stowell, Aiken, SC, Lois Tugya, Aiken, SC, Gail Hutchins, Cottekill, NY, April Winkler, Eureka, CA, Edward Helmstead, Louisville, CO, Connie Stanley, Port Charlotte, FL, Marjorie Dent, New York, NY, William Dent, Valley Cottage, NY, Geraldine Johnson, Greensboro, NC and Ginger Packman, Naples, FL. She is also survived by a sister in law, Alice Dent, Naples, FL.
