June Louise Manley Blohm

February 1, 1943 — March 29, 2012

A memorial service for June Louise Manley Blohm will take place on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 2:00pm at First Presbyterian Church of Aiken. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church parlor, with a reception to follow. Mrs. Blohm, 69, of Aiken, died Thursday March 29, 2012 at University Hospital, Augusta, GA.

A daughter of the late Raymond Dolson Manley and Louise Otilda Muller Manley, she was born in Brooklyn, NY and had lived in Rochester, NY before moving to Aiken in 1999.

June received her Masters degree in Business Administration at Farleigh Dickerson University and then went to work for IBM. She spent 20 years at Xerox Corporation where she was responsible for World wide procuring of cut sheet paper and later was responsible for the remanufacturing program of low-end copiers. She was an elder and Stephen minister at First Presbyterian Church of Aiken. She was a member of PEO and was on the board of directors of the Honduras Agape Foundation. She was also a founding board member of the Aiken Friends of Opera.

She is survived by her husband, Ken Blohm, Aiken, SC; three step children, Douglas Suzanne Blohm, Shelton, CT, Holli Glenn Horine, Fairfield, CT and Chris Dee Blohm, Patterson, NY and seven grandchildren, Casey Blohm, Jordan Blohm, Brayden Blohm, Justin Horine, Taylor Horine and Jillian Castrellon. She is also survived by a nephew, Evan Liz Manley, Buffalo, NY
