Katherine Rae Templeton

Katherine Rae Templeton, 64, of Aiken, died Sunday, April 15, 2012. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, April 19, 2012, at George Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 211 Park Avenue SW, Aiken, officiated by Rev. Keith Ussery.

Katherine was born in Galesburg, Illinois and was a daughter of Dorothy Morton Templeton and the late A.G. "Bud" Templeton. Mrs. Templeton was a 1966 graduate of Knoxville, Illinois, High School and later graduated from the Nursing School at Cottage Hospital. She was a member of the Rainbow Girls and enjoyed gardening and working in the yard. Katherine worked as a nurse at Aiken Regional Medical Center in the Wound Care Center and was a volunteer at the SPCA. She was a very thoughtful person of other people.

Survivors include her mother, Dorothy Morton Templeton of the home and many cherished pets.
