Kathryn Michelle Price

Mrs. Kathryn Michelle "MeMe" Price, age 57, beloved wife of Tracy L. Price of Aiken, SC, passed away on Sunday, April 28th, 2024 at her residence following a sudden illness.

Michelle was born on November 28th, 1966, in Augusta, Ga a daughter of Kyle F. Egington and the late Carolyn Patricia Ogletree Edgington. Michelle was the Valedictorian of the Class of 1985 at Midland Valley High School. After high school, Michelle went on to earn both her bachelor's degree and master's degree in education from Clemson University and spent over 30 years as a dedicated English teacher. She worked at South Carolina Connections Academy since 2010 and also taught at Aiken High School, Wagener Sallee, Augusta Christian, and Aiken Technical College. Kathryn was passionate about ancestry research. She was an avid Clemson Tigers fan and was a member of Clearwater Branch Baptist Church in Aiken. Most of all, Michelle was a loving and devoted wife, daughter, mother, meme and sister.

In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Ashley (Cara) Price of Williston, Aaron (Emily) Price, and Shayn (Heather) Price of Aiken; a sister and brother-in-law, Vivian Heather (Doug) Hayes of Aiken; and four grandchildren, Cheyenne Price, Callie Price, Jace Price, and Emmett Price.

Funeral Services celebrating Michelle's life will be held at Clearwater Branch Baptist Church on Saturday, May 4th, 2024, at 11:00am with the Rev. Tim Smart and Rev. David Harper officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
