Katie Jane Moss

Aiken, SC-Funeral services for Mrs. Katie Jane Moss will be held Thursday, April 28, 2005 at George Funeral Homes Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave. SW, Aiken at 3pm with Rev. Dr. Eddie Leopard officiating. Interment will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, Aiken. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1pm until service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Moss, 83, died Tuesday, April 26, 2005 at her home.

Before moving to Aiken in 1963, she had been a lifelong resident of Middlesboro, KY. Mrs. Moss was a daughter of the late Charles and Barbara Collingsworth Crigger. She attended Millbrook Baptist Church, Aiken, the Essie Osteen Sunday School Class and was a Teacher?s Aide at Millbrook Elementary School until she reached the age of 81.

She is survived by a daughter, Dorothy Mae ?Dottie? Rice, Frankfort, KY; sons, Roy H. Pace and his wife, Betty,, Aiken, SC, Raymond C. Pace, Graniteville, SC, and Ross E. Pace, Aiken, SC; brother, J.C. Crigger, Middlesboro, KY; ten grandchildren; Brenda Rice, Karen Gallion, Terri Jacobs, Debbie Sides, Mary Davidson, Barry Pace, Kathy Crisp, Charles Pace, Christopher Pace, and Victoria Lebert Mrs. Moss is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.
