Keith A. Gilmore, a resident of Aiken, South Carolina, passed away on Wednesday morning, August 13, 2025, at the age of 82. A private individual, Gilmore was an avid golfer who enjoyed setting up tee times for his group at Woodside Golf Course for several years. His proficiency in the game and impeccable golf etiquette were widely recognized. He was also known for his meticulous approach to divot repair, replacing them alongside those of his fellow golfers after each shot. A passionate baseball enthusiast, Gilmore closely followed the Atlanta Braves, displaying an unwavering loyalty to his team. He would often watch Braves games on his laptop while simultaneously watching Blaze TV, hosted by Glen Beck and Mark Levin. In his spare time, Gilmore nurtured a substantial library of books, primarily focused on history and biographies of all the United States presidents. He was an avid reader and shared his love for literature by sending songs via email, as he possessed a considerable collection of musical compositions on his laptop. Beyond his personal interests, Gilmore was a highly knowledgeable, caring, and generous individual. He extended thoughtful birthday gifts to numerous golfing friends, leaving an indelible mark on those who had the pleasure of meeting him. His absence will be deeply felt, and his memory will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew him.
