Larry Paul Sims

AIKEN, SC- Larry Paul Sims, age 62, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, November 10, 2015.

Larry was born September 16, 1953 in Parkersburg, WV to the late Paul and Lucille Weekley Sims. He received his Bachelor's Degree from West Virginia University and worked in the accounting and tax industry. Larry had made Aiken, SC his home for the past 27 years where he was a member of Cedar Creek Church. He enjoyed playing golf, kayaking, and traveling.

Larry is survived by his wife of 39 years, Nancy Lorena Sims; two daughters, Megan Renee Helmig (Milo), Aiken, SC and Stacey Leanne Sims (Daryl Dicks), Lake City, SC; and a sister, Cheryl Echard (Steve) Parkersburg, WV.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 14, 2015 in the George Funeral Chapel with Pastor Danny Wilson officiating. Interment will be private.

Visitation will be this Friday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 PM at the Historic George Funeral Home, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC 29801 (803.649.6234).
