Leona S. Jane'' Nied

Private graveside funeral services for Mrs. Leona S. ?Jane? Nied were held today at Sunset Memory Gardens, Langley, SC. Mrs. Nied, 86, of Aiken, SC, formerly of Winchester, TN died Thursday November 20, 2003 at Cumberland Hills Nursing Center, Aiken. Born in South Bend, IN, she was a daughter of the late George W. and Elizabeth Ellis Snyder and outlived her four siblings. She had worked as an administrator in the Bendix Insurance Dept. in South Bend, IN for over 20 years before retiring 26 years ago. Since retiring, she liked to play golf and to paint with oils. Her husband Fred Nied, died one year ago. She is survived by a son Chris Nied, Aiken, SC and two grandsons.
