Leonard Bernard Johnson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Leonard Bernard Johnson. Leonard passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 5th, 2025, at the age of 66.

Leonard was born on Monday, May 5th, 1958, in Aiken, SC, where he spent his formative years. As a dedicated resident of New Ellenton, SC.

He is survived by his daughters, Ashley Nicole Benson of Atlanta, GA, Brittney Johnson of Maryland, and Stephanie Johnson of Augusta. Leonard also leaves behind his dear aunt, Katie Mae Dandridge of Augusta; 1 grandson, Simon Benson as well as numerous cousins and other family members.

Leonard was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Johnson, and his mother, Betty Lou Johnson.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Zion Fair Missionary Baptist Church, at 97 Dry Branch Road, Aiken, SC 29803; a community that Leonard held near and dear to his heart.
