Leslie Joseph Hartley

AIKEN, SC – Leslie Joseph Hartley, 53, born the 14th of October 1968 to Leslie Gerald Hartley and Joann Burke Hartley, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022.

First he sang of the Light, Then he sang to the Light, Now he sings in the Light.

Devoted son, brother, friend, consummate fabricator of facts not factual, gifted Bass/Baritone, gourmet cook, and lover of all the finest things.

May the angels appreciate these qualities as much as we do.

He is survived by his mother, Joann Hartley, and his brother Christian Hartley.

A Funeral Liturgy will be officiated at 1:00 p.m., Friday, September 30, 2022, at Old Historic St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Park Ave., with a reception to follow in Smith Hall adjacent to the Parish.
