A Funeral Mass for Mrs. Lillian Angela Kostura will be celebrated at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, on Monday, January 17, 2011 at 1:30pm. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at GEORGE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTER, 211 Park Ave. SW. Memorial donations may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Mrs. Kostura, 89, of Aiken, died Thursday, January 13, 2011 at her daughter's residence.

Born in Buffalo, NY, she was a daughter of the late Francis Nycz and Stephanie Vontroba Nycz. Before moving to Aiken in 1997, she ad lived in Maple Heights, OH. She was a communicant of St. Mary Help of Christians Church and a member of Aiken Pairs and Spares.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Kostura, Sr, who died in 2007, siblings; Louis Julia Nycz, Mary LeRoy Hamm, Frances Ben Soinski and Joseph Nycz.

She is survived by two sons; Thomas Georgene Kostura, Graniteville and Joseph Claire Kostura, Colorado Springs, CO, a daughter; Sharon Charles Campbell, Aiken, a sister; Bernice Sam Cicero, a sister in law; Frances Nycz, seven grandchildren; Julianna Jehne Kostura, Bryan Sarah Kostura, Kimberly Justin Clamp, Christina Jacob Pridgen, Jessica Campbell, Kori Campbell and C. J. Campbell. She is also survived by two great grandsons; Jackson Kostura and Garrett Kostura.
