Lindsay Marie Rose

A Celebration of Life Service for Lindsay Marie Rose will be held Tuesday, September 6, 2005 at 7 PM at George Funeral Homes Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC with Rev. Phillip Lee officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 PM until the time of service at the funeral home Tuesday. Memorial donations may be made to the Brain Tumor Center at Duke University, Duke University Medical Center, Box 3624, Durham, NC 27710

Lindsay, 27, of Aiken, SC, died Sunday, September 4, 2005 at her residence. A daughter of Michael R. and Pamela Hawkins Rose, she was born in Rocky Mount, NC and had lived in Aiken since 2003.

Lindsay was a graduate of the University of South Carolina at Aiken. She had been a Chemist at Cardinal Health prior to her illness.

In addition to her parents, Lindsay is survived by her sister, Amy Mason, Craig Garner, NC; maternal grandmother, Gladys Hawkins, Nashville, TN; paternal step-grandfather, Gillis Thornton, Rockwood, TN; and nephews, Brendan, Ian, and Connor Mason.
