M. Sunny Pearson

AIKEN, SC – M. Sunny Pearson, age 81, passed away November 22, 2024.

Sunny, as she was affectionately known, was born October 16, 1943 in Wilkesbarre, PA to the late Lewis Eugene Davenport and the late Marybelle Hoover Davenport. She had been a resident of the Aiken area for the past 19 years. She was an avid equestrian and loved horses, rescue dogs, and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Tracy Pearson.

Sunny is survived by two sons, Guy Thompson (Marian) and Jody Scott Thompson ( Cynthia Blackmon); six grandchildren, Johnathan Thompson, Tristian Thompson, Aaron Thompson, Kristen Thompson, Jennifer Thompson, and Katelyn Hiznay; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Bonnie “Penny” Bartsch.

Services will be private.
