Margaret Nell Gunter

Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Nell Gunter will be Friday, February 3, 2006 at 2pm at George Funeral Homes, Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Avenue, SW with Pastor Bill Branch officiating. Interment will follow in Aiken Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Gary Gunter, Jerry Greene, Dexter Greene, Danny Smith, Doyle Smith, and Todd Blackwell. Visitation will be Thursday, February 2, 2006 from 6 ? 8pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to the charity of your choice.

Mrs. Gunter, 74, of Aiken, died Tuesday, January 31, 2006 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

Mrs. Gunter was born in Barnwell County to the late Henry And Sarah E. Greene. She was a lifelong resident of Aiken. She was a member of Town Creek Baptist Church and was a homemaker who loved to cook and crochet.

Mrs. Gunter is predeceased by her husband, James Lester Gunter, Jr.; son, James Clinton Gunter, Sr.; granddaughter, Angela Gunter. She is survived by her sons, Richard D. Teresa Gunter, Burnettown, Charles W, Gunter, Sr., Aiken; sister, Louise Roundtree, Elko; brother James Greene, Elko; grandchildren, James Clinton Gunter, Jr., Charles W. Gunter Jr., and Cheri Mechell, and four great grandchildren.
