Margarette Fielding Damewood

Aiken---Mrs. Margarette Fielding Damewood, 96, wife of the late Frank A. Damewood, died Friday, November 29 at University Hospital. Funeral Services will be held 11AM Tuesday, December 2 at George Funeral Homes, Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave. SW, with the Rev. Sheila Rogers and Rev. Sam Marcengill officiating. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 4-6PM or friends may call at the residence of her granddaughter Dawn Beam at 644-6362. Interment will be at Sunset Memory Gardens, Graniteville, SC. Mrs. Damewood has lived in Aiken since 1951, was a member of St. Johns United Methodist Church, President of United Methodist Women, Garden Club member, Pink Lady at the Aiken Hospital, and an Avid Golfer. Survivors include her son Don Damewood, Wando, SC, Daughter Margarette Ann Boley, St. Louis, MO, three grandchildren, Dawn Beam , Aiken, Chrisie Boley, Atlanta, GA, Michael Damewood, Columbia, Maryland, and four great grandchildren.
