Graveside funeral services for Marie Theresa Garbitelli will be held on Wednesday, November 24, 2005 at Calvary Cemetery in Astoria Queens, NY.

Mrs. Garbitelli, 91, of Aiken, died Sunday November 20, 2005 at Pepperhill Nursing Home.

Born in Verona, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Quinto and Erminia Canepa. She came to the United Sates when she was five years old and had lived in New York before moving to Aiken in 1989. A retired seamstress, she was a member of the International Ladies Garment Works Union for forty years.

Her husband, Dominick Garbitelli, died in 1989. She is survived by a brother in law, Rocky Garbitelli, New York, a sister in law, Maurine P. Canepa, Aiken and several nieces and nephews.
