Mark Stephen Ewing

AIKEN, SC- Mark Stephen Ewing, age 54, of Wagener Road passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 28, 2015.

Born October 17, 1960 in Queens, New York, he was a son of John Ewing and the late Wilma Bingham Ewing. Mark, a member of the Catholic faith, was the Assistant Manager of S & S Cafeteria. He enjoyed fishing, playing golf, and was an exceptional cook. He dearly loved his dogs, Boomer and Marmaduke. Mark was very compassionate and well loved by all that knew him. He will be remembered by his family for giving his all and being their "rock."

In addition to his father, Mark is survived by his wife, Rebecca Sue Ewing, of Aiken, SC; two sisters, Jane (Leonard) Drummond, Aiken, SC and Frances Coleman, Warrenville, SC; three brothers, John (Patricia) Ewing, Anderson, SC, Christopher (Lisa) Ewing, Warrenville, SC, and Stephen (Wanda) Ewing, Aiken, SC.

Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Wilma B. Ewing and a sister, Deborah Kirkland.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, May 31, 2015 in the George Funeral Chapel. Pastor Phillip Lee will be officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
