Mary H. Carpenter

Funeral services for Mary H. Carpenter, 78, of Aiken, will be held at 2:00 pm Monday at the Chapel of GEORGE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTER, officiated by Rev. John Huff and Rev. Jimmy Napier. Burial will follow in Aiken Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be the grandsons, Kenny Arthur, II, Lewis Arthur, Ben Baynham ,Tommy Hill, Stephen Harrison, Jessie Bishop and. The family will receive friends from 12:00 - 2:00 pm, prior to the service.

Mrs. Carpenter, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at her residence. Born in Aiken County, she was a daughter of the late Theodore and Aleane Morris Holsenback. Mrs. Carpenter was a lifetime area resident and was a retired office manager with Allstar Gas. Mrs. Carpenter was a member of Old Time Gospel Church.

Surviving are her husband, Earl Carpenter of Aiken; daughters, Patricia C. Arthur (Ken) of Graniteville, Glenda C. Hill (Freddie ) of Warrenville and Janice C. Baynham of Ridge Springs; brothers, Alvin Holsenback of Aiken and Tollie Holsenback of Ridge Spring; a sister, Helen Willis of Merritt Island, Florida; 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
