Mary R. Newkirk

Mary R. Newkirk, 80, of Aiken, died Friday, June 8, 2012, at Aiken Regional Medical Centers after an illness.

Services will be held at 10AM Monday, June 11, at All Saints Anglican Church. Arrangements are under the direction of George Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC 29801.

Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late John W. and France A. Hopkins. Mrs. Newkirk was a retired X-Ray Technician and a member of All Saints Anglican Church.

Survivors include her husband, Frank Newkirk of Aiken; nephews, Robert Reynolds of Austin, TX, and Dr. John Reynolds Solia of Shelby, NC; great-nephews, John Edward Reynolds of Greenville, NC and avid Reynolds of Shelby, NC; great-nieces, Diane Reynolds of San Francisco and Nancy Reynolds of Shelby, NC.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to All Saints Anglican Church, 110 Fairfield St., N.E., Aiken, SC 29801.
