Michael Stephen Fendt

AIKEN, SC – Michael Stephen Fendt lost his four year battle with cancer on March 1, 2023, surrounded by his family.

He is survived by his wife, Jill Fendt (Aiken, SC); his son, Andrew Fendt (Aiken, SC); his daughter, Mikayla Fendt (Syracuse, NY); his father, Donald Fendt (Aiken, SC); and his sister, Robyn Petrone (Huntington Station, NY).

Mike began his career as an auto mechanic, then moved into being a service manager of a car dealership before finally doing renovations for homeowners. He formed the company Fendt Construction which built custom homes. He was a sought-after builder due to his quality work and hands on approach.

He will be remembered as a truly special man, loving father, son, best husband, wonderful golfer, and a true friend who was taken way too soon. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

There will not be a service, but a celebration of his life will take place in the future.
