Michael Whitaker, 74, of Aiken, SC, passed away on Wednesday, July 31st, 2024, at his residence following an illness.
He was born on Saturday, July 15th, 1950, in Brooklyn, NY. He worked as a Contruction Foreman and was known for his strong work ethic and kind spirit.
Michael is survived by his wife, Zorina Eletia Whitaker, 1 daughter, Shalisha (Derrick) Haynes; 1 son, Othniel Whitaker; 2 stepdaughters, Lorraine Findley and Bobbette Findley; 1 step-son, Lyle Findley; 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Saturday afternoon from 2:00pm until 4:00pm at The Historic George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park AVe SW, Aiken, SC 29801 (803) 649-6234.
