Micheal Chelchie Williams

Micheal Chelchie Williams, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and spirited entertainer, passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at the age of 63. Born on Thursday, July 13, 1961, in Barnwell, SC, Micheal became a cherished resident of Aiken, SC, where his warmth and humor touched the lives of many.

Micheal is lovingly survived by his devoted wife of 14 years, Rose Mary Williams; his son, Micheal Chelchie (Amanda) Williams, Jr. of Jackson; his daughter, Jennifer Starnes of Aiken; and his brothers, John Henry Williams, Jr. of Williston and David Williams of Way Cross, GA. Further cementing his legacy are his 16 adored grandchildren, who were constant sources of joy in his life.

Micheal was a great auto mechanic, paint and body work repairman & welder. Micheal was best known outside of work for his role as "Bobo the Clown," where his vibrant personality and love for entertainment brightened countless community events across South Carolina. His ability to bring smiles to faces of all ages demonstrated his deep compassion and capacity for joy.

Micheal was preceded in death by his parents, John Henry Williams Sr. and Betty Williams, whose love undoubtedly shaped him into the caring and vibrant person he became.

To honor his life and continue his legacy of giving, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105. Micheal's commitment to both his community and family will undoubtedly be remembered and celebrated.
