Mildred Ruth Stephenson

Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred R. Stephenson will be held Tuesday, January 6, 2004 at 10 A M from the graveside in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA.

Mrs. Stephenson, 88, of Aiken, SC, widow of Lt. Col. Robert Louis Stephenson, died Friday, afternoon, December 19, 2003 at Carriage Hills Plantation, Aiken, SC.

Born in Oregon, MO a daughter of the late Ralph and Cora Rayhill Moore, she had been a resident of Prince George?s County, MD, prior to relocating to Aiken, SC, four years ago. She was Presbyterian. Mrs. Stephenson retired as a School Teacher at the age of 80.

A son, Robert Louis Stephenson, II, Rockville, MD; grandchildren, Bob Stephenson, Aiken, SC and Kara Phillips, Grand Rapids, MI; and great-grandchildren, Sam Stephenson, Jacob Phillips, Nathan Stephenson, Tess Phillips, and Katherine Phillips, survive.
