Milledge Day

Aiken---Milledge ?Junior? Day, Jr., 55, of Fayes Garden Lane, died Thursday, August 15, at University Hospital. Funeral services will be held 3PM, Sunday, August 18, 2002 at George Funeral Homes, Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave. SW, with the Revs. W.H. Bryant and Derrick Strickland officiating. Pallbearers will be Gene Baughman, James Stone, Sam Swearingen, Norman Baughman, Jimmy Roughton, Sam Jordan, Johnny Day and Milledge H. Day. Visitation will be from 6-8PM Saturday evening at the Funeral Home. Burial will be held at Holsenback Family Cemetery, Aiken. Mr. Day is the son of the Myrtice Holsenback Day and the late Milledge Day, Sr., and brother to the late Alice Baughman. He had lived in Aiken all of his life, was a member of North Aiken Church of God, enjoyed hunting and fishing, and loved his grandchildren. Survivors include his mother, sons; Milledge Harris Day, Aiken, Johnny A. Day, Aiken, daughter; Jennifer Lynn Meyer, Aiken, brother; John Holsenback, sister; Grace and Norman Baughman and six grandchildren
