Murray Henry Steller

Murray Henry Steller, a resident of Aiken, SC, and formerly of Garden City, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 4th, 2025, at the age of 96 just 4 days after losing his son, "Chuck".

Born on Tuesday, August 28th, 1928, Murray lived a full and vibrant life dedicated to his family, community, and country.

Murray proudly served in the United States Air Force, demonstrating a remarkable commitment to his nation. Following his military service, he embarked on a successful career in sales, where he was known for his unwavering work ethic and integrity.

Murray is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Panagiota Steller, who was his constant companion and partner in all things. He also leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory, including his son, Alex Steller, and his wife Jennifer of Aiken; his daughter, Valorie Parry, and her husband Jack of New York; and his brother, Carles Steller of Michigan. Murray was a proud grandfather to four adoring grandchildren, Jason, Jennifer, Hayden, and Mason, and a doting great-grandfather to his precious great-granddaughter, Amma Lee.

In addition to his son, Murray was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Maybelle Steller, whom he is now reunited with in eternal peace.

Murray will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and dedication to his family. His legacy will continue to live on through the values he instilled in his children and grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 14. 2025 at 11:00am at Southlawn Cemetery & Mausoleum, 4524 Whiskey Road, Aiken, SC 29803.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, a cause that was close to Murray's heart.
