Nancy C. Guy

Mrs. Nancy Cardet Guy, 81, of Aiken, widow of Marion R. Guy, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2014. Memorial services will be held at a later date in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.

A daughter of the late David & Julia Munoz Cardet, she was born in Guantanamo, Cuba. Mrs. Guy was a communicant of St. Mary Help of Christian's Catholic Church. Mrs. Guy was a retired book keeper with Ryder Corp. She was a talented cook and seamstress. Mrs. Guy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Help of Christian's Capital Campaign, PO Box 438, Aiken, SC, 29802.

Survivors include: her children, David Guy, Sr. (Lynda) of Gainesville, Florida, Jennifer J. Kent (David) of Duluth, Georgia, Russell Eric Guy (Suzanne) of Lawrenceville, Georgia and Jon Guy (Robin) of Aiken; grandchildren, David Guy, Jr. (Jamie), Lisa Guy, Clayton Guy (Kelly Oneal) all of Gainesville, Florida, Amanda Blamowski of Key West, Ryan Kent (Christina) of Buford, Georgia, Elizabeth Kent of Duluth, Georgia, Matthew Guy of Aiken, Kristin Guy of Lawrenceville, Georgia, Elena Guy of Aiken and Ashleigh Guy of Lawrenceville and 5 great-grandchildren.
