Nancy Weir Wells

AIKEN, SC— Nancy Weir Wells, age 75, entered into rest on Monday, December 5, 2016.

Nancy was born September 24, 1941 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late David and Lucy Weir. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Education and spent her career as an elementary school teacher. Nancy had made Aiken, SC her home since 2008, having previously lived in Largo, FL. She was a very social person and enjoyed book clubs, card games, Mahjong, golf, and bridge. Nancy was a member of South Aiken Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by a daughter, Macaire Wells and a son, Robert L. Wells III.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Robert L. "Bob" Wells, and a special cousin, Joyce Fellows and her husband Robert of Fullerton, CA.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, December 9, 2016 in the George Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Christopher Crotwell officiating. A reception will follow at Woodside Plantation Country Club.
