Natalie Ann Palladino

August 3, 1947 — November 24, 2018

AIKEN, SC—Natalie Ann Palladino, age 71, passed away at Augusta University Health on November 24th, 2018 after a lengthy illness. She was a graduate of Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania with a major in German. She taught middle school German, English, and mathematics in Kinnelon, New Jersey over a very successful 30-year career. After retiring to Florida, she moved to Aiken, SC in 2006.

She was an active communicant of Saint Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church. She served as a Lector, Eucharistic Minister, Bible study leader and participated in the Collection Ministry. She began each day praying for those in need of God’s love and strength. Those in need were always an important part of her everyday life. Natalie was a member of The Reserve Club and enjoyed playing golf with her gals, followed by a nice glass of wine. She was a strong and loving person.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Antoinette Sparano. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Joe; a brother, Carl Sparano, of Boonton, NJ; two step-children, Marc Palladino (Jessica), of Pompton Lakes, NJ and Tara Dombrowsky (Steve) of Hampton Cove, AL; grandsons, Alexander, Nicholas, and Christopher Dombrowsky, and granddaughter, Angelina Palladino.

A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at the old historic St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Park Ave., with The Very Rev. Father Gregory Wilson as celebrant. Final prayers and commendation will follow in Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church’s Youth Group, PO Box 438, Aiken, SC 29802 or ACTS, 340 Park Ave SW, Aiken, SC 29801.
