Funeral services for Mrs. Nora Mae Holman Lemmons, will take place on Thursday, May 26, 2005 at 11:00am at George Funeral Homes Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave. SW Aiken, SC. A second service will take place on Friday at 11am at Boone Family Funeral Home, 2005 Mt. Jefferson Rd. West Jefferson, NC. 1-888-266-6311 www.boonefuneralhome.com

Interment will follow at Ashelawn Memorial Park, Jefferson, NC. Visitation will be Wednesday at the funeral home from 6-8pm. Memorial donations should be directed to the Mattie C. Hall Alzheimer?s Unit 830 Laurens St. Aiken, SC 29801.

Mrs. Lemmons, of Aiken, died Tuesday at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. A daughter of the late Ernest J. & Katy Bare Holman, she was born in Ashe County, NC and had lived in Creston, NC before moving to Aiken in 1955. Nora, along with her husband Don, was a salesperson for the Vernon Co. She had also worked at Lominick's Pharmacy, before retiring in 1984.

She is survived by her husband of thirty eight years, Donald Lemmons, Aiken, two step-sons; Frederick Donald Lemmons, USMC, Washington, DC, and Chris B. Lemmons, Sarasota, FL, a brother; J. E. Holman, Creston, NC, a sister; Cora Sellers, Wilmington, NC and four grandchildren.
