Olin George Grice

Aiken, SC-Funeral services for Mr. Olin George Grice will be held Sunday, May 18, 2003 at 3 PM at George Funeral Homes, Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC, with Reverend J.B. Redd officiating. Pallbearers for the service will be Duane Grice, Matthew Grice, Casey Grice, Jason Fulmer, Donald Fulmer, and Chris Fulmer. Interment will follow in the Scott Family Cemetery, Aiken, SC. The family will receive friends Saturday, May 17, 2003 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Mr. Grice, 84, of Aiken, SC, died Thursday, morning, May 15, 2003 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

Born in and a lifelong resident of Aiken County, SC, he was a son of the late Olin Leon and Myrtis Scott Grice. He was a Baptist and retired from the E.I. DuPont Company. Mr. Grice was a caring and generous man who was always willing to help someone.

Sons, Russell, Charles, Steven, and Eddie Grice, all of Aiken, SC; daughter, Jill Atkinson, Aiken, SC; brother, Howard Grice, Cayce, SC; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, survive.

The family has requested that memorials in memory of Mr. Grice be made to the Charity of Choice.
