Paul Edward Herron

Funeral services for Mr. Paul Edward Herron, Sr. will be held on Friday, July 14, 2006 at 3pm at Bethel Baptist Church, Aiken with Rev. Brancie Stephens officiating. Interment will follow in the Herron Family Cemetery, Aiken. Pallbearers will be Rudy Heath, Jerry Fisk, WH Kirkland, Bill Turner, Danny Grover, Ed Ford, and honorary pallbearers will be the grandsons. Visitation will be tonight from 6-8pm at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Avenue, SW, Aiken. Memorial contributions may be directed to Bethel Baptist Church, 1127 Bethel Church Road, Aiken, SC 29801.

Mr. Herron, 69, of Aiken, died Tuesday, July 11, 2006 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

A son of the late Will & Essie Kirkland Herron, he was a lifelong resident of Aiken. Mr. Herron was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and had worked at Avondale Mills for over 50 years.

Mr. Herron is survived by his wife of 50 years, Joan Baggott Herron; sons, Gene Carol Herron, Warrenville, Jeff A. Tanya Herron, Trenton, Paul E. Donna Herron, Jr., Aiken; daughter, Dianne Herron Robert Anderson, Bath; sisters, Pansy Grover, Louise Gunter, Adie Widner, Margie Ford, Shirley Williamson, LV Hatfield; grandchildren, Hope Pryor, Andy Seeby, TJ Herron, Natasha Herron Staples, Genia Herron, Katie Herron, Zach Herron; great grandchildren, Melissa Pryor, and Drew Pryor.
